Sustainable Texas Landscape in Alamo Heights

We thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with clients who were ready to ditch the traditional lawn and embrace a more ecologically beneficial landscape. This project focused on creating a low-maintenance, native habitat by removing turf and stabilizing sloped areas with Frog Fruit and various Texas-adapted plants such as Texas Sage, Barbados Cherry, Wax Myrtle, Yaupon Holly, Rock Rose and other perennials—a fantastic lesson in sustainable gardening for the homeowners! Key enhancements included upgrading and expanding the front entry with larger, more durable flagstone pavers. We also performed a comprehensive site cleanup, which included power-washing all surfaces and refreshing their existing patio container plantings. The transformation is underway, and we're excited to showcase the vibrant, mature results in future photo updates!
